This is an important local door-to-door service run by volunteers and available
to all residents in Loggerheads and surrounding district.
For those who have a medical related appointment but no means of their own
to travel to it.

The options for people in this situation is simple:

Use the ambulance service which can take up all day

Use a Taxi – very expensive

The term ‘medical related’ is wide and covers not only visits to a Doctors
surgery and hospital, it also includes, dentist, physiotherapy, optician, and
chiropody appointments.

Drivers are police checked (DBS)
Costs the passenger 45p a mile
